When working as a Surgical Technician, the majority of your day will consist of you being in a surgical room. Before entering the room you must "Scrub In" along with everyone else. Scrubbing in is the serious washing your hands in forearms and wear the surgical gown just like they do in the movies!

This requires knowledge on the different types of procedures and the equipment used for each one.
